By using our services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
1. Definitions
"Company" refers to Airport Taxi Company. "Customer" refers to any person making a booking. "Driver" refers to any licensed driver employed or contracted by the Company. "Service" refers to airport transfer and city tour transportation services.
2. Booking & Confirmation
- Bookings are accepted via our website, phone, or email.
- A booking is only confirmed upon receipt of a confirmation email or reference number.
- You must provide accurate details including pickup location, destination, date, time, passenger count, and flight number.
- The Company reserves the right to decline any booking.
- Minimum booking notice is 4 hours, subject to availability.
3. Pricing & Payment
- All prices are fixed and quoted in British Pounds Sterling (GBP).
- Prices are inclusive of VAT where applicable.
- Additional toll charges (e.g. DART Crossing, Congestion Charge) are not included unless stated and will be charged at cost.
- Payment is made directly to your driver on the day of travel. We accept cash and all major debit/credit cards.
- Prices may be revised at any time; however, confirmed bookings will be honoured at the quoted price.
4. Cancellation Policy
- More than 24 hours before pickup: Free cancellation — no charge.
- 12–24 hours before pickup: 25% of the total fare may be charged.
- Less than 12 hours before pickup: 50% of the total fare may be charged.
- No-show: Full fare will be charged.
- To cancel, contact us by phone or email with your booking reference.
5. Passengers & Luggage
- The vehicle must not be overloaded beyond its stated capacity.
- One medium suitcase per passenger is standard. Additional or oversized luggage should be declared at the time of booking.
- The Company is not liable for damage to or loss of luggage.
- Customers are responsible for their own belongings during the journey.
6. Flight Monitoring
- We monitor flights using your flight number and adjust pickup times for delays at no extra charge.
- Monitoring is subject to the accuracy of real-time flight information services.
- For very short delays, your driver may wait at no additional charge (up to 60 minutes free waiting time for arrivals).
- Extended delays beyond 60 minutes may incur a waiting charge of £10 per 30 minutes.
7. Driver & Vehicle
- All drivers are fully licensed and DBS checked.
- The Company reserves the right to substitute vehicles of equivalent or superior category.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all vehicles.
- Soiling of the vehicle may result in a cleaning fee of up to £150.
- Abuse of drivers will not be tolerated and may result in termination of the journey.
8. Liability
- The Company's liability is limited to the cost of the journey booked.
- We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, weather, or other circumstances beyond our control.
- Passengers travel at their own risk. We recommend travel insurance for international journeys.
- The Company maintains full public liability and private hire insurance.
9. Complaints
Any complaints should be submitted in writing to complaints@airportaxicompany.co.uk within 7 days of the journey. We aim to respond within 5 working days.
10. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
